  1. Bowl Riders Cup Update!

March 24, 2010 by Micah Stancil

Well another great year at bowl riders. Day 1 back yard bowl had a team rider make finials

in all three classes. Austin Cresman in Groms, Clay Kreiner in Am and Benji Galloway in the

Pro’s.  Austin ended up 5th, Clay 2nd and Benji finished out in 4th. Benji wasnt feeling well

and ended up not skating at Kona on day two.  Day 2 kona bowl again Austin and Clay both

made finials. Austin finished 6th and Clay once again finished 2nd. Big congrates two both

of you its really tuff to go down to FL and finish where you did in there back yard. After it

was all said and done Clay took 2nd place over all in the Am division and Austin took

5th over all in the grom. Heres a few pictures  for the contest.

  2. Clay Kreiner words and photos from the Tampa crew.

When Clay Kreiner checked in, he was wearing a funny

looking hat like a baby Tyler Hendley. I expected he might

be taking part in the kickturn contest on the vert ramp. After

just a couple runs of seeing him skate, I was instantly reminded

of Danny Way’s barging onto the vert scene in his decades old

part in Ban This. Clay’s got a little bit of that style. He’s not quite

there with the super hard tricks yet, but he’s looking damn good

    on the U for sure.

Clay Kreiner’s airs like this contributed to my recollection of

Danny’s Ban This part. Now if he did varial into this and cracked

a back d, he would be on Frazier’s level.

Clay is looking good on ever wall. Now smack it to frontside

disaster and revert it like Frazier.

Big thanks to the Tampa crew! See you guys at Damn Am.

  7. Timmy Knuth News from Orlando’s Dew Tour!

But there was plenty of good news from Heat Four too: Timmy Knuth, the Floridian local, and Chris Mendes both placed high enough to make the Finals. 18 year-old Timmy has been killing it this summer, and for the record, he has one of the best 360 flips in skateboarding. Timmy got his 5th place spot with kickflip this and that’s into the handrail, and an honestly massive 360 flip up and over the death gap into the bank. Timmy was looking like a beast until he showed me that his fingers had pruned due to excessive sweating, after that he just looked gross.  ” For full details go to -  http://www.allisports.com/news/greg-lutzka-leads-way-skate-park-prelims

  9. Clay Kreiner Dew Tour Update!

After a fifteen minute practice break, Heat Two was a go. While Anythony Furlong, Rob Lorifice, and Sandro Dias all qualified for Finals, I think the Gatorade Free Flow Tour champion Clay Kreiner deserves a sentence or two. Clay, who’s just 12 years old, makes the Vert ramp appear to be 100 feet tall. Little Clay wasn’t just a cute attraction though. In his first run Clay threw three McTwists, including two back-toback, a manual on the hump over the cut-out, and managed to put together a full run. In his second run he tried stepping the tech side up and fell on a kickflip indy, but I don’t think a soul in attendance wasn’t impressed with the young man.

    Posted 5 days ago

How did you get your spot in the finals?
I won the Factory Skate Stop in Georgia

    What’s your favorite trick?
    McTwist

    Who’s your favorite skater?
Bucky Lasek, he did so great today

How do you feel skating on the same course as the pros?
Its amazing to be here, I’ve never been to anything like this. In South Carolina, you never get to see the pros so its great to be here where they are and skate.

What did you think of the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Lounge?
Its great to hang out in, play rock band, chill out and drink lots of Gatorade!
